Step into the world of Guys and Dolls, one of the all-time classics of Broadway musical theatre. Set in New York City, the show follows a colourful mix of gamblers, showgirls and missionaries as their stories of luck, love and friendship collide.

With larger-than-life characters, great songs and energetic ensemble numbers, Guys and Dolls remains one of musical theatre’s most rewarding productions for both cast and audience. Whether you enjoy singing, dancing, or character acting, join us as we bring this exciting show to the Haslemere Hall stage.

As well as 13 named principal roles, we are looking for around 5 Hot Box dancers and 12 ensemble members (50/50 male/female) to play the gamblers, mission band members and citizens of Broadway.

For the ensemble there will be a short audition including a song and some basic dance steps, both performed in groups. The sheet music and a recording of the song are available online now, and the dance video will be posted by this Wednesday (2 June). We will be running through the song and dance steps at the audition rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday at Grayswood School, and again on Sunday 2pm at the Hall before we start the auditions.
